serving opportunities

As Christians, it's important that our faith includes action. If you are looking for a place to serve, we have many opportunities in the church and in our community. For a list of local ministries, please click here.

  • children's ministry

We consider kids so important to the ministry of Foundation. It's one of the reasons we make time for them during the service, and why you will see them helping out too. In order for any children's ministry to thrive, it's imperative to have amazing adults* to teach and lead. If you are interested in helping with children's ministry, please contact Carol Green.

*All adults volunteering in children or youth ministry are required to have been active for 6 months at Foundation, to complete a background check, to provide references, to complete an in-person interview, and to complete online abuse prevention training with Ministry Safe.

  • Student ministry

Being a teenager can be difficult, but it's such an important time in the life of a any person. Teens are capable of so much, and it's up to us to give them the tools to make wise decisions and grow in their faith. In our youth group, amazing adults are pivotal to our success. If you would like to help with our weekly youth group called Collision, or help drive or chaperone an event, or be a camp or disciple now leader, we would love to have you! Contact Clinton Sharp to see where you might fit.

  • Worship

It takes many awesome volunteers to make a worship service run smoothly. Worship at Foundation requires musicians, vocalists, audio and visual volunteers, communion helpers, altar designers, and much more. If you have the gifts and are interested in helping contact Brenda Rogers for more information.

  • Love of Christ food pantry

At Foundation, we love to serve others! Join us on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30-7pm at Love of Christ Food Pantry. During this time, we organize and help clients receive food. This is a great service opportunity for the whole family. For more information, please contact Gary White.

  • Greeters

Each Sunday morning could be the first time a person steps into a sanctuary. It's an awesome opportunity to make them feel welcome and loved. That's why we like to have greeters ready to show a smile and offer a bulletin. If you would like to be a greeter or help with any kind of hospitality on Sunday mornings please contact Janie Wilkerson.

  • receptionist

We have an amazing team of receptionists here at Foundation, and we'd love to have you serve too! Receptionists serve from 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm by answering the phone, welcoming guests into the office, or doing small tasks for the staff. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9am-3pm. If you are interested in being a receptionist, please contact Janie Wilkerson.

  • Angels in aprons

We provide meals to our congregation and extended families in the midst of sickness, surgeries, births, and other occasions where we can show the love of Christ through a warm meal. To volunteer, contact Mary Hunt.

  • handy hands

Handy Hands is a group at Foundation who help individuals and families in the community with light home repairs. If you would like to help or need some light repairs, please contact John Moseley.

  • Helping hands

One of our favorite local organizations is Helping Hands. Their goal is to cultivate an environment in which individuals and families are empowered to work out of systemic poverty and toward wholeness, through ministries of relief, development, and advocacy. There are many opportunities to serve with Helping Hands or to donate. Check out www.helpinghandsbelton.org for more information.

  • Project apple tree

At the beginning of each school year, we love to partner with Project Apple Tree. This program has been helping families for the last 18+ years by providing school supplies and new clothes to students who might not otherwise be able to afford them. Check the sanctuary each August to sponsor a child.
